New Year Revolutions!

New Year Revolutions!
31 Dec 2015

What?  Revolutions, not resolutions?  That’s right!  I’m asking each of you who reads our weekly blog to consider 2016 the year you move forward with some “revolutionary” financial planning moves!

First step: Interview and hire a qualified financial advisor. You need a partner as you navigate the complex world of insurance and investments. Your advisor should not only be experienced, knowledgeable and client focused, but also someone you enjoy meeting with on a regular basis.

Second step: Provide your advisor with all the financial facts about your life, copies of documents requested, and complete the required “homework” to allow your advisor to prepare a written financial plan focusing on your retirement income needs. What a revolutionary idea; planning for a successful retirement!

Third step: Be prepared to move forward with the recommendations your advisor makes for your financial future.  Also, realize you may need to implement the recommendations over a period of time. You should never feel “rushed” with your advisor to make a decision. You should make your decisions based on what your advisor truly believes is right for you and a timetable for implementation which makes good financial sense.

Fourth step:  Another “revolutionary” idea–plan on meeting with your advisor every three to four months to review progress and continue to fine-tune your written plan recommendations!

Finally the fifth step: Utilize our website, www.premierinvestmentsofiowa.com, for your weekly educational update through our TV & Radio Shows to continue growing your financial knowledge as you work with us toward your financial success.  Consider enrolling in one of our popular workshops to energize your 2016 financial goals.

We are here to help you become a financial “revolutionary”!!  We wish each of you a happy, healthy, and prosperous NEW YEAR!
