Roger G. Abel is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Roger graduated from the University of Iowa, where he majored in Finance. He has over 14 years of experience in the investment and insurance industry, serving clients and consulting other advisors.
His focus is on personal financial planning. He has an extensive background in risk management, estate planning, investment planning, and working with high net worth individuals. His financial planning process is focused on finding out what the client’s goals and objectives are and then helping them achieve those goals.
Roger is one of the hosts of the Premier Financial Hour, which airs Tuesday at 6pm on WMT 600 AM. He is also an executive producer and co-host of Financial Perspectives, a 30-minute financial education program that airs Sundays at 11:30am on KCRG 9 & 9.2. Roger is frequent instructor of Rejuvenate Your Retirement an educational workshop for retirees and Passport to Retirement an educational workshop for pre-retirees. He has instructed classes at colleges across the state.
Roger currently resides in Fairfax, Iowa with his wife, Megan, their daughter Blakely and two beagles: Dollar and Euro. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, hunting, hiking, and golfing.
